2011 Sequoia Century

The Sequoia Century is the Western Wheelers Bicycle Club’s big annual event, providing the opportunity to complete a fully supported 100-mile or 200K ride out to the Coast and back. There are shorter 20-mile, 50K, 50-mile and 100K options, also.

The 2011 Sequoia Century was a sold-out success. Although the weather forecast threatened storms and lots of rain, the day was cool and dry, with damp pavement only near the summit. Thanks to all the riders who registered and rode. Though the rain forecast caused us to cancel our music, people had fun snacking and chatting at the end of the ride.
